This Week Pray For –
Ian and Pat Hart are thankful to be settling in to life at Tahan Theological College. Classes started on Monday, 11 June, and since arriving at the end of May they have been fully involved in the preparations: getting timetables sorted (English for Pat, Old Testament for Ian), interviews, a staff retreat day away, speaking in two local churches, and generally getting their heads round who's who and how things are done.
The Moderator’s theme for the year is ‘Building Relationships.’

Church Prayer Times This Week
The Church meets for prayer on Sunday at 6.40pm before the evening service and at the Prayer Meeting on Wednesday evening.
The following members have been nominated by the voting members of the church for election as elders. Mrs Hilary Hawthorne, Mr James Ross, and Mrs Heather Sergeant. Should anyone wish to object to their nomination they must lodge their objection in writing with the Clerk of Session stating their reasons, no later than 12.30pm on Sunday 17th June. A meeting of voting members for the purpose of electing new elders will take place after morning worship on Sunday 24th June.
The service next Sunday morning 24th June will be an all age service. The children will be in church for the whole of the time and will receive their end of season gifts.
Next Sunday evening 24th June Rev Ronnie Hetherington will conclude his study series "Good news for cities in Acts" and at the conclusion of the service lead us in the Sacrament of Communion. We really want to encourage as many as possible to attend as we share in fellowship around the Lord's table.
Film Nights - The last five movie nights since October 2017 have raised 1,000 for the Church Building Fund. Many thanks to those who supported the evenings and provided in any way towards the supper.
